  Ever since this bride was little, she dreamed of her grandfather officiating at her wedding. Sadly, Brittany Yost's papaya, as she called it, passed away in 2018, a year before her recent nuptials.

  Since I was little, I knew that I wanted him to officiate at my wedding and he always told me it would be an honor for me, Brittany told BBC News. To tell the truth, it would have been an honor to have her there.

  However, the bride's sister and future boyfriend Jordon prepared a surprise that provoked a very emotional reaction from everyone present. As the ceremony ended and the preacher told everyone to bow their heads in prayer, a familiar voice was heard ending the ceremony and pronouncing them as husband and wife.

  When I first heard a voice on the speaker, I knew immediately who it was. My heart broke, but I felt so much joy and happiness through all the tears said Brittany. The excitement and chills that filled my body are indescribable. I was weak to the knees, but I felt his presence. A calm washed over me and I felt a weight lift off because my dream came true, all thanks to my sister and Jordon. . 

  Brittany's sister married in 2017 and her pawpaw, a reverend, was the officiant. Jordon and his sister-in-law took the audio from the previous wedding and cut the part that would perfectly coincide with Brittany's ceremony, and they didn't tell her. The bride and everyone else burst into tears when they heard papaya's voice, and the photographer, Sarah Irvin, couldn't help herself either.

  I was crying so much that I had to go back and look at the photos right away to make sure they weren't blurry because I was moving so much, Sarah told ABC News. I've never seen anything like this. The entire crowd was silent except for the sobs. Even after he said, 'You can kiss the bride,' no one moved.

  Even after the surprise was revealed, Brittany couldn't believe that something she thought was impossible happened. She said, All the dreams I had as a child came true.
