'Game of Thrones' Star Kit Harington Messed Up His Proposal to Rose Leslie

Game of Thrones star Kit Harington spoiled his proposal to Rose Leslie

You don't know anything, Jon Snow.

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie made all Game of Thrones fan dreams come true when they confirmed their engagement last week.

Not surprisingly, his ad, which ran in The Times newspaper, was elegant and classic.  "The engagement is announced between Kit, youngest son of David and Deborah Harington of Worcestershire, and Rose, middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire," the ad read.

Frankly, there is nothing more perfect than this.  Two hot British actors making space in a newspaper to declare their love?  That is a thing from today's fairy tales.

But apparently, Harington's actual proposal wasn't that perfect.  In a recent interview with Jonathan Ross, Harington reveals that her engagement plans went awry when she asked the golden question a little too early.

"I had some plans to do it, I was going to hang some lights on some trees and do all the romantic things," Harington said, according to The Sun.  "But we were in the field, and we were under this beautiful night sky, and we had a log fire going and red wine, and I blew my load out early."

Noticing her, erm, quirky choice of words from him, he quickly clarified, "What I meant to say is that I asked my question a bit earlier. He didn't blame me ... Sorry, that's a very bad expression."  .

The couple are now in full wedding planning mode - Harington even said that she told Game of Thrones producers that the show had to close for her wedding so everyone could attend.  Harington and Leslie met on the set of the hit show, after all.
